Dr Haresh Manyar is Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast and he is the Theme Coordinator of School’s research cluster on Theoretical and Applied Catalysis.
He has applied his research at the interface between chemistry and chemical engineering to develop new catalysts, chemical processes and in situ spectroscopy techniques for production of bio-fuels, fuel-additives and renewable chemicals.
He has 4 patents and has published 33 papers in peer-reviewed international journals with an h-index 15. He has received successful grants from Royal Society, EPSRC, Invest NI and STFC.
He is appointed as an Independent Expert by European Research Council on Individual Marie Curie Actions programme; on the Leadership forum of the IChemE Energy Centre Board; and on the International Advisory Committee for IIChE Chem. Eng. Congress ChemCon 2017, India.
