Research Associate in Sustainable Biomass / Sustainable Underutilised Biomass Boiler Fuel

I graduated from DCU in Dublin in 2014 with an undergrad in Environmental Science and Health. I was then fortunate enough to take up a graduate position in Harp Renewables, based outside Navan in Co. Meath, who had recently purchased a new waste to energy technology. During my 2 years or so with them I transferred and embedded knowledge on fuel development and biomass combustion in the company. I also ensured the organic waste to energy technology complied with environmental and legislative standards, and continued to comply with future more stringent legislation.

The current project I’m working on includes lab testing and quality control of new biomass materials along with gathering data on sustainable biomass sources in NI.
